Cooking gas safety tips
We care about your safety beyond our premises. Follow these simple guidelines at home and at work.

Keep cylinders upright, outdoors or in a well-ventilated space, away from heat and open flames.

Check hoses and regulators regularly, and replace any that are worn, cracked or damaged.

Test for leaks with soapy water — never with a flame.
- 4
Turn off the cylinder valve after cooking and whenever gas is not in use.
If you smell gas
If you smell gas, don't switch on lights or electrical appliances. Open doors and windows, turn off the cylinder valve, and call for help from a safe place.
